Visit Leeds Castle and enjoy the history, animals and space to play!

The Castle is just 40 miles from London and it is a place that the whole family can enjoy.

This impressive fortress is an enchanting place built by the Normans and set on two islands on the River Len in the heart of Kent. It has been home to royalty, lords and ladies for more than 900 years.

There is an unusual variety of attractions including: a moat with black swans, a maze with mythical beasts, a large duckery and aviary with exotic birds, falconry displays, the Knight's Realm adventure playground and a toddlers play area, the Castle Craft Centre, an underground grotto and even a dog collar museum!

There are also special kids' activities during half-terms and holidays so look out for these.

Be warned that no buggies are allowed inside the castle due to the fragile interiors but slings are provided for babies.

Have fun!
